Ntarupt was officially established as a fund of the Dallas Foundation in 2014 as a result of strategic planning by community members and stakeholders, now known as the Alliance. Since 2020, Ntarupt has operated as and independent, non-partisan 501 (3). Alliance members attend quarterly member meetings, are featured in the Ntarupt newsletter and benefit from a network of likeminded agencies.
