Ntarupt offers a courses for parents
Families Talking Together, a two hour intervention for parents of pre-teens 10-14, teaches parents effective communication skills, builds parent-adolescent relationships, and helps parents to develop successful monitoring strategies. The program can be delivered to parents in a range of settings-either individually or in small group sessions.
Ntarupt offers two evidence-based, medically accurate courses for teens: Making Proud Choices! for Youth in Out of Home Care and Be Proud! Be Responsible! Both are evidence-based (backed by research) interventions and have been extensively reviewed for LGBTQ+ inclusivity and utilization of a trauma-informed approach.
Making Proud Choices! for Youth in Out of Home Care, a 10-module curriculum, provides adolescents, ages 11-18, with the knowledge and skills necessary to reduce their risk of STIs (sexually transmitted infections), HIV, and pregnancy by abstaining from sex or using condoms if they choose to have sex. All lessons are framed in the context of goal setting.
Be Proud! Be Responsible! is a six module curriculum and provides adolescents, ages 11-18, with the knowledge and skills necessary to avoid sexual risk behaviors and consequently reduce their risk of pregnancy, STIs, and HIV.
